About Meteor 350
Royal
Enfield Meteor 350 is a cruiser bike available at a starting price of Rs.
1,83,487 in India. It is available in 3 variants and 7 colours with top variant
price starting from Rs. 1,98,785. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is powered by
349cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 20.2 bhp and a torque of 27 Nm. With
both front and rear disc brakes, Royal Enfield Meteor 350 comes up with
anti-locking braking system. This Meteor 350 bike weighs 191 kg and has a fuel
tank capacity of 15 liters.
The newly launched Royal Enfield Meteor 350 replaces the Thunderbird 350X in
the company’s product portfolio, and it uses the manufacturer’s all-new J
platform. Royal Enfield offers the new Meteor 350 in three variants – Fireball,
Stellar, and Supernova.
The three variants are distinguished by their respective paint options and a
few other components. The Fireball variant is sold in two paint options –
Fireball Yellow and Fireball Red. The Meteor 350 Stellar variant is available
in three colours – Red Metallic, Black Matte, and Blue Metallic. The most
premium version, the Supernova is listed with two paint options – Brown and
Blue dual-tone paint schemes.
The overall design features a quintessential cruiser stance. The styling cues
are similar to the Thunderbird 350X, and the new Meteor 350 packs features such
as a circular headlamp with LED DRL, a USB charger, a peanut-shaped fuel tank,
pulled back handlebar, swooping rear fender, and an LED taillight. The
motorcycle also gets a semi-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth
connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation functions.
All three variants of the Meteor 350 share the same BS6-compliant 349cc,
single-cylinder, air-cooled, long-stroke motor. Linked to a new five-speed
gearbox, the engine makes 20.2bhp of power and 27Nm of peak torque.
The suspension tasks on the new Meteor 350 are handled by telescopic forks at
the front and twin-sided shock absorbers at the back. The anchoring setup
comprises of single discs on both wheels while the safety net includes
dual-channel ABS.
The Meteor 350 competes against the likes of the new Honda H’ness CB 350, Jawa
Standard, and the Benelli Imperiale 400.
